We have a COURT DATE!!!!

What a glorious ray of light on a very drab North Dakota day! So here's the deal ... I have really been struggling with all this lost time with our little one. We were ready back last fall for her .... and yet she had to wait several more long months and it just was really ripping at my heart. So I've been asking God for a miracle with her court date and to redeem some of this lost time. As you know in the world of international adoption ... NOTHING is in stone ... so this is just a date and it's possible it can be post-poned, or a new date given if her case doesn't pass the first time through. But just as I asked for a miracle for her date ... I will keep asking for God to make the path smooth for her court hearing. I'm especially burdened for her birth-mom in this part of the process.

So! ... the date is April 9th! With the time difference, we'd like to ask you to be praying the evening of the 8th and any moment in between that the Lord leads you to pray! Thank you so much.

WOW WOW!!! That is a quick scheduling, I am so thrilled for you! IT gives me hope, we just got a referral of a boy, 14 mo's: Tariku. I will be bold enough to beg pics for when you go, as you will be there before us, please. But wow. A court date, already and soon, relatively! YOu must be over the moon...here's hoping it's a trend! Congratulations!

Fantastic news!!! Let's just keep praying and trust that our prayers ARE effective and God IS on the throne.

I have been reading Mark and I was touched today when Jesus asked again, "Are you still so afraid?" This was after they went through a ferocious squall (and possibly death by drowning). Probably thought they were justified to have a little fear. Me, too. Even as my mind can go to the "what ifs", Jesus says to me, "Are you still afraid?" Gulp!

Jesus, increase our faith as we wait.

So glad to hear about your court date...and we'd love to have you take some pics of our little Noah when you go. I will be thinking of you and your family on April 8 and hopefully rejoicing with you on April 9! :)

Yeah! We're excited to hear the good news. My laptop crashed so I am delayed in posting my comment. We'll be praying that things go through the first time around.

Blessings, Rebecca K.
